Palm revealed more details regarding its upcoming webOS 2010 roadmap this weekend.
Engadget reports that a number of features straight from the developer wishlist will be granted, including direct access to the microphone and camera API.
Other features include a "media indexer", about which there are no real details yet, and new cryptography options for security purposes.
There's also asynchronous background services support, a new service called Mojo Core - which will allow developers to convert web apps into webOS much faster - and the 'Bluetooth Serial Port Profile', which should allow new devices to be paired with the Pre.
The App Catalog will also get a makeover, as the below image shows.
Expect the new webOS to be released some time towards the end of 2010.
