Multi-platform firm Moblyng has announced a deal with social game specialist Playdom to bring the developer's titles to a multitude of mobile formats.
Moblyng's software allows the same game to be re-published across multiple smartphone platforms.
The deal with Playdom will see the likes of Mobsters and Sorority Life hitting webOS, BlackBerry, Android and Symbian within the near future.
Big bucks
Moblyng, which also recently picked up $2.65 million in funding from existing investors Mohr Davidow Ventures and Deep Fork Capital, claims the deal validates its technology.
"Our architecture lets us develop a game quickly and make iterations of it as quickly as web-based game developers can," added Moblyng chief executive Stewart Putney said, according to VentureBeat.
Playdom has already enjoyed much success on Facebook and MySpace, with Mobsters having also made a splash on iPhone.
The link-up with Moblyng marks its first attempt to branch out into wider mobile development, however.
