Fishlabs and FDG Entertainment were the two big winners at the seventh IMGA at the Mobile World Congress, picking up two awards each for Snowboard Hero and Beyond Ynth respectively.
Snowboard Hero managed to take the Best Sports Game and Operators Choice awards, beating strong competition from best-selling titles like Real Golf! 2 and Ice Breaker, while Beyond Ynth took both the Excellence in Gameplay and the Grand Prix award - the top prize at the event.
Thomas Kern, head of products and strategy at FDG, was understandably excited about picking up the two awards, calling it "beyond awesome."
Big 'em up
Other winners at the event included Epic's graphical powerhouse Infinity Blade (Excellence in Design), while Plants vs. Zombies managed to snare the award for Best Casual Game.

Will's obsession with gaming started off with sketching Laser Squad levels on pads of paper, but recently grew into violently shouting "Tango Down!" at random strangers on the street. He now directs that positive energy into his writing (due in no small part to a binding court order).
