Data mining specialist GamesAnalytics has signed up another executive in its bid to strengthen its business, with award winning data analyst Mark Robinson joining as the firm's new COO.
Robinson, who has picked up several awards for innovative use of data, joins the firm having previously worked across the financial services industry, as well as retail, leisure and drinks.
Revenue riser
Most recently, Robinson led the data-mining consultancy Marketing Databasics.
His main task at GamesAnalytics will be focus aid PC, console and mobile developers maximise their game revenue via micro-transactions and in-app purchases.
"The rise in online gaming presents a massive opportunity for developers and publishers to understand their customers as never before," Robinson said of his appointment.
"It is now possible to use state-of-the-art behavioural analytics technology to drive increased customer satisfaction, player retention, virality and revenue.
"I look forward to meeting with gaming companies and explaining the companys unique vision over the coming months."
