Its pace may have slowed a little, but two months on from hitting one million downloads notched up in its first week on sale Nexon has announced that KartRider Rush has now hit the two million mark.
The freemium racer made the leap to iOS after attracting more than 200 million registered players on PC, having built a stable base in Korea, China and Taiwan.
Next up for Nexon
The specialised smartphone release, which offers up to four player multiplayer via Bluetooth, is now set to make an appearance on Android, with Nexon announcing the game will launch on Google's OS later this year.
According to the firm, it's the immediacy of play that has proved popular with its iOS audience.
"KartRider Rush's game modes and mechanics are exciting and easy to pick up," said Nexon of the news.
"The optimisation of the PC game's various modes for the iOS platform, including touch screen controls and accelerometer sensors, gives players a fun and immersive gameplay experience that garnered positive reviews across the board."
The firm also plans to roll out an update for the existing iOS release in the summer.
