Reinforcing its selling point as the development framework supporting the most platforms, UK tools provider Marmalade has announced its smartphone and tablet SDK now handles LG's Smart TV.
The company says this is the first native SDK for LG Smart TV, and will enable developers of mobile games to easily repurpose existing content to the new TV market.
Really big screens
"Marmalade was the clear choice for LG due to its solid track record in enabling new platforms with powerful applications and services," said BG Kang, VP LG Electronics.
"Smart TV is a huge market opportunity. With this release, Marmalade is enabling rich, high quality native content on LG's Smart TV platforms," added Niall Murphy, Marmalade's CEO.
