French developer Godzilab has taken to Twitter to announce its library across both iOS and Android has now passed 10 million downloads.
In a short and simple post as Twitter allows the firm said it was "happy to see" downloads pass 10 million "in the App Store and Android Market."
Might of the Moki
Godzilab is best known for its iBlast Moki series, which launched on iPhone back in 2009. The game has since expanded onto both Android and Windows Phone, with a sequel landing on iOS in August 2011.
Its launch came at the same time Godzilab took to the web to evaluate the differences between operating on both the App Store and the then Android Market (recently relaunched as Google Play).
The studio revealed that, in the case of the firm's freemium release StarDunk, the amount of revenue generated per user was much higher on Apple's platform. A larger number of downloads on Android, however, meant both versions were holding their own.
"As of today both versions have about the same revenue, and we covered our initial development cost really quickly," said Godzilab.
"Maybe we were lucky with StarDunk: a free app which corresponds to the criteria of what people like on Android Market - a free and quality app."
