Romanian development studio Inneres Auge has acquired independent developer Octavian Stirbei, along with the rights to his full portfolio of iOS games.
The acquisition will see Stirbei join Inneres Auge as chief technology officer, where he'll oversee the studio's programming department for all ongoing projects.
Beak polish
Stirbei's portfolio of titles includes Bastards, an FPS based on the Doom engine, and chromatic puzzler Huebris. These games are now 'subject to future development' and will be relaunched by Inneres Auge.
The Bucharest-based studio has also singled out Brave Beak from Stirbei's portfolio and deemed it worthy of particular attention.
Inneres Auge's studio director Iulian Agapie explained, "Brave Beak is the best example of an indie title worthy to be polished and further developed by a professional company to reach the world wide popularity it deserves."
For his part, Stirbei described his excitement at joining Inneres Auge.
"Ever since I've started this business, my goal was to create great games that would both entertain people and hit the top chart."
"By joining Inneres Auge, I know that now I am in the right place and I have the right tools to achieve this goal."
