Zynga has partnered with American Express to launch a co-branded payment card that will reward FarmVille players with in-game currency when they make purchases in the real world.
The prepaid card delivered via American Express's digital payment platform Serve is either linked to bank account, or topped up via MoneyPak, with users earning 50 Farm Cash for each of their first five purchases of $25 or more.

"We're excited to partner with American Express to invent new ways for people to experience Zynga play in more parts of their day," said Zynga CEO Mark Pincus.
"Together we can add surprise and delight to every day shopping."
In order to sign up for the Zynga Serve Rewards program, FarmVille players must plant a 'Serve Money Tree' in their farm and then follow the prompts to sign up for their Serve prepaid card.
Serve account holders must be 18 or over, although sub-accounts can be set up by parents for children aged 13 and over.
In the future, the 'Zynga Serve Rewards' programme will reward all purchases with virtual awards, and similar programs will be introduced to other Zynga titles such as CityVille and CastleVille over the coming year.
