Cambridge-based outfit Frontier Developments has announced it's opening its first studio outside of the UK, unveiling a new base in Nova Scotia, Canada.
The development house, which will be set up in Halifax, is to work with Frontier's HQ on projects across all formats, with the firm informing us mobile will also be wrapped up into the bargain.
Frontier first
Though best known for its work on PC and console including franchises such as Frontier and Rollercoaster Tycoon Frontier has also made waves on Windows Phone, iOS and Android in recent years.

"Halifax has been on our radar as an attractive geographic and commercial environment within which we could create games since we met Nova Scotia Business Inc. a few years ago," said COO David Walsh.
"The local universities produce talented graduates and the area is home to a growing cluster of indie developers, tech and media companies.
"This helped us to quickly establish the foundations of our studio in Halifax with a team that has a great mix of skills to complement our people in the UK, and expand our overall capacity."
Kinectimals hit Windows Phone, iOS and Android
No details on just what games the new Canadian outfit will be working on have yet been released, though it's expected to be up and running by August.
