Demonstrating the potential of emerging markets - but in another way - US company Gamenauts has announced its new publishing push.
It's designed to enable independent developers based in Asia to gain access to the US and European markets.
Gamenauts will provide funding, support during development, as well as marketing and monetisation analysis.
Developers will maintain the ownership of their IPs.
Inbound goods
Inspired by its work with Indonesian studio Menara Games when developing Ninja Fishing, Gamenauts has announced it will also be publishing games from Artlogic Games (Indonesia), Kurechii Studio (Malaysia), and Nerdook Productions (Malaysia).
"It's our goal to help independent Asian developers have their games discovered and successfully received in the western market," said Gamenauts CEO Stanley Adrianus.
"We are thrilled to be working with such talented developers, and we anticipate 2013 to be a great year with these publishing partnerships."
Developers interested in the publishing initiative should email publish@gamenauts.com.
