Mobile monetisation outfit Flexion has released its Q4 market report for games distributed via its Android, Symbian and Java wrapper technology.
For the three months ending 31 December 2012, gross revenue generated was just over $6 million (4.5 million).
This compared to 4.2 million in Q3 and 4.5 million in Q2.
Global growth
In terms of audience, the platform saw 48.5 million new customers during the three months, up 73 percent year-on-year. This brings Flexion's cumulative total to 260 million customers globally.
As you might expect, the Christmas period saw a surge in activity, with traffic up 20 percent month-on-month over the Holiday week.
Latin America remains the fastest growing market for Flexion, with Brazil, Mexico and Argentina key markets.
Europe and the Middle East is the most lucrative, however, accounting for 49 percent of Q4 revenue.

Breaking down activity on a per transaction level, the average consumer spend was 1.45 ($1.95).
The platform had a conversion rate of 9.1 percent, with 3.1 million premium transaction generated from 33.9 million free trials.
Currently 1,300 titles are distributed by Flexion's wrapper technology, which enables in-app billing, ad-funded revenues and DRM.
