On the morning of the Z10's launch in the US, BlackBerry claims BB10 now has more than 100,000 apps available, up from the 70,000 that were available for the handset's UK launch.
The firm claims more than 30,000 apps have been added to BlackBerry App World during the past seven weeks, with big names such as Amazon Kindle, MTV News and CNN joining the line-up.
BlackBerry doesn't detail what share of those 100,000 apps are games, however, or how many are Android titles repackaged for the platform.
The numbers game
The news comes days after BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins predicted 100,000 apps would be ready, claiming the company was succeeding in its task of proving to developers that BB10 is a worthy platform.
"Customers are thrilled with the applications already available, and the catalogue just keeps growing, now with more than 100,000 apps," said VP of global alliances Martyn Mallick.
"Top brands and application providers are joining us every day and are seeing the benefits of being early supporters of the new platform.
"We constantly hear from developers that the BlackBerry 10 tools are easy to build with and that we provide opportunities for app differentiation that they do not see on other platforms."
In comparison, Microsoft claims 130,000 apps are available for Windows Phone, while both iOS and Android offer somewhere north of 700,000 titles each.
BlackBerry is yet to detail how BlackBerry 10 devices have been performing in the UK where they've been on sale since the end of January and the firm's home territory of Canada, though a mysterious 1 million strong order was pushed out to the press earlier this month.
