Unity has revealed it will open a new Russian office in order to demonstrate its commitment to the growing number of developers adopting the Unity development platform across the country.
The office, which will be based in Moscow, will be helmed by Unity's business development director Roman Menyakin, along with new marketing director, Natalya Sviridova.

Unity's decision to open an office in Russia adds even more credibility to the firm's status as a global powerhouse, with the company now employing over 400 people in offices spread across 15 countries.
Antony Douglas, VP EMEA at Unity, praised the move to Moscow, suggesting that it proves Unity is a firm dedicated to supporting its clients, wherever they may be.
“Over the last few years we've seen a dramatic increase in the number of developers and publishers using Unity in Russia to make amazing games and content and we're now supporting these efforts locally by launching Unity's first office in Moscow," said Douglas.
“At Unity we're huge fans of the Russian gaming industry. The quality and imagination of what's been created using our tools is truly inspiring.
"It's vital that we put a team on the ground to ensure our customers and community in Russia can continue to push the boundaries of cross-platform game development."
