GREE acquires US hardcore social publisher Funzio for $210 millionThe M&A bubble continues with Japanese social gaming network GREE, once again, splashing the cash. It's dropped $210 million in cash to buy US mid-core social publisher Funzio.

Given Zynga's share price remains under the water from its $10 float price, investors are starting to become concerned about how the social gaming giant is operating its business.
Spending up to $210 million buying OMGPOP in March seemed like an opportunitistic move, but given that its main game Draw Something is losing players on Facebook, some are revisiting that decision.
Of course, the game still has a very healthy 10 million daily active users on Facebook and is in the top 5 in the US top grossing iPhone chart so it's certainly too early to write off the deal as a bad one. But, no doubt, it's a topic Zynga analysts will continue to chew over in the coming months.

Nokia Lumia triggers 300% jump in Windows Phone app submissions
Neither Nokia or Microsoft have yet made a success out of Windows Phone, but at least getting the Finnish OEM onboard has had an impact.
According to Nokia's SVP of developer experience and marketplace Marco Argenti, app submissions to Windows Phone Marketplace have risen 300 percent since Nokia got involved.

But hey, it's a start, right?
