Exent gears up games on demand service Play Anywhere for February debut on Android
Games on demand services have already proved popular on both console and PC, and now US based games distributor Exent is lining up Android as the next great exponent of the model.

The firm's new set up Play Anywhere is set to launch this February and will charge users a flat monthly fee via PayPal for unlimited access hundreds of games, available on both Android phones and tablets.

Also on board will be seven day trial versions, recommendations, ratings and trailers.

Exent experience"The Games on Demand subscription model rewards every game for every minute of gameplay, for the life of the product," director of content and programming Rick Marazzani says on the firm's website.

"The experience Exent has at merchandising and monetising content fills a void in the current marketplace and helps Android games reach their revenue potential. Exent will select only the best apps to optimise the Android experience for consumers and carriers."

Play Anywhere will be delivered as part of Exent's GameTanium suit, with Mobile Entertainment reporting the firm is looking to link the two platforms in the future to enable players to switch seemlessly between mobile and PC.
