Australian studio Tin Man Games has signed a deal with Rebellion to bring Judge Dredd's exploits to iOS, albeit in the form of a new gamebook.
Set to hit both iPhone and iPad in Q2 2012, the developer is said to be working closely with the team responsible for the recent Judge Dredd tabletop RPG.
Game for gamebooks
"It's great to see Dredd coming to digital platforms like the iPhone and iPad," said Matt Smith, editor of Rebellion's 2000 AD.
"We're privileged to be working with a great group of writers and artists that really understand the Judge Dredd universe," added Tin Man Games creative director Neil Rennison.
The new Judge Dredd release will add to Tin Man Games' existing gamebook library, having made a name for itself pioneering the genre on iOS.
Said gamebook is expected to be priced at $4.99, also launching on Android later in the year.
