Designed to coincide with the firm's splash at CES 2012, Qualcomm has announced its previously unveiled promo app GameCommand will roll onto Android Market in North America on January 10.
The app will push titles from the Snapdragon GamePack Qualcomm's showcase for the games it believes make best use of its Adreno GPUs. Some of these are exclusive to the distribution channel for a period of time.
It will also carry news feeds about the latest games.
As such, the company is looking to make it as easy as possible for consumers to discover all such releases, in turn encouraging developers to support its chipset.
Taking command
"With mobile gaming proliferating at a blistering pace, apps like Snapdragon GameCommand make it easy for consumers to discover and access the most advanced Snapdragon optimised games," said director of advanced gaming Dave Durnil.
"With exclusive and highly-anticipated games like Fight Game Heroes and The Reem, Snapdragon mobile gaming is really starting to heat up."
So far, only North America is being lined up for launch on January 10 the same day Qualcomm chairman and CEO Dr. Paul E Jacobs will take to the stage at CES 2012 in Las Vegas though the company claims it'll roll out in other territories "at a later date".
