Rovio has taken to Twitter to announce downloads of Angry Birds Space have topped 10 million in the game's first three days.
The latest addition to the series, which hit iOS and Android on 22 March, is viewed by many as the first genuine sequel to the original Angry Birds, and it appears to be keeping up the franchise's tradition of amassing a userbase at pace.
Three for all
"10 million Angry Birds Space downloads in less than three days!" the Finnish firm detailed on its Twitter account.
"Thanks to our fans, stay tuned for more!"
The milestone comes after Rovio confirmed a version for Windows Phone is also in development, backtracking on earlier comments by CMO Peter Vesterbacka that the platform was too much hassle to support.
"Our mutual goal is to bring the best possible experience to our fans, including all fans using Windows Phone devices," stated CEO Mikael Hed.
Series wide downloads before Angry Birds Space's launch had already passed the 700 million mark.
