If you're preparing to launch a transmedia properties for kids, one of the companies you look at for inspiration is Disney.
And that's exactly what Rubicon Group Holding has done in case of its move to bring Monster In My Pocket to games, apps and various social media.
It's hired Jeff Nuzzi, previously senior director of marketing at Disney Mobile, to the post of director of digital media.
At Disney, Nuzzi worked on successes such as Where's My Water?, and he's also worked on properties such as Star Wars and SpongeBob SquarePants during his time at THQ Wireless.

"Building a large engaged audience by telling stories across multiple mediums is a tremendous opportunity," Nuzzi commented.
"That these stories can begin as digital content speaks to the powerful impact of technology on entertainment."
He will help RGH, which already has 400 staff based in the US, Jordan, Manila and Dubai, build up its digital expertise prior to the release of Monster In My Pocket apps and games, expected in 2014.
RGH recently licensed the IP from its creator and owner MEG.
"We are thrilled to welcome Jeff Nuzzi to the RGH team on the heels of his many successes in the digital marketplace," said RGH's CEO Randa Ayoubi.
"His recent accomplishments and specialised skill set are acutely in tune with our goal to build a digital division that will quickly and efficiently maximise the potential of all of our IPs across many platforms."
