Ad-funded mobile games firm 123play has launched its service in four new European countries: France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
The expansion follows its launch in the UK earlier this year, where 123play claims it's generated hundreds of thousands of downloads so far.
The site currently offers more than 80 games double the number it launched with in May. 123play claims it's taking a 'quality over quantity' approach, to differentiate itself from rival ad-funded games offerings, which tend to offer hundreds of titles.
Although still lacking any games from the three largest mobile publishers EA, Gameloft and Glu the site does have the likes of Digital Chocolate, RealArcade, THQ Wireless, Hands-On, Indiagames, In-Fusio and Player X signed up.
The company hasn't yet announced which brands will be advertising within its games in France, Germany, Italy and Spain. In the UK, it's attracted the likes of Britvic, eBay, The Sun and the NME.
