With the relaunch of the Ovi Store due anytime soon, Nokia has finally allowed users of its high-end N900 device to gain access, albeit as part of a beta launch.
This offers users what the Nokia blog is calling "a collection of hand-picked content" developed for the Maemo 5 OS ranging from Foreca Weather and Documents to Go to Pixelpipe, Evernote and the platform game Bounce Evolution.
Significantly though it seems these apps come with a price.
For example, the business tool Documents to Go, which lets you view native Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files and email attachments, comes with a free 30-day trial, and an introductory price of $9.99. The regular price is listed as a more steep $19.99.
Still, we'll be interested to see what gaming applications become available as more apps specially developed for the N900 become available.
