Following on from the first two sets of enabled Android games, the third wave of OpenFeint titles is set to hit the platform later this week, with 12 titles primed for Android Market action.
Joining the likes of Fruit Ninja and MiniSquadron is PikPok's Flick Kick Football, Dot 3 from ustwo, HyperBees' ensemble of Cows Don't Fly, Prism 3D and JellyBalls, OrangePixel's Dynamo Kid, Abduction! by Psym Mobile, Bonecruncher Soccer from Distinctive Developments, Measured Software's Pocket Racing, Egggz by SmartPix Games, Chopper Control by The Game Boss and CrowdStar's Happy Island.
Hyper sales
They have a lot to live up to, too, with HyperBees first OpenFeint enabled release Speedx 3D having seen its sales rise strongly.
"We expected there to be some uptick in sales when we re-launched Speedx 3D with OpenFeint, but the end results was truly amazing," said co-founder Tom Mleko.
"Following the update, we recorded a 39 percent increase in Speedx 3D sales and a 9 percent increase in sales across other titles.
"OpenFeint has been a great partner for Android and we look forward to what they have in store for the future."
Facebook for Feint
OpenFeint itself will soon be party to an update, with version 1.1 for Android set to incorporate Facebook Connect to enable users to link up with their friends.
"We're seeing incredible growth on Android for new games and existing Android games relaunching with OpenFeint," says VP of marketing and developer relations at OpenFeint, Eros Resmini.
"With Facebook Connect coming soon, more and more players will discover the Feint gaming network. Developers clearly love the Feint gaming network we're already in 80 games and are adding new games every day."
