Not-for-profit publisher OneBigGame has revealed it has signed up PaRappa the Rapper creator Masaya Matsuura's latest title for ngmoco's Plus+ network.
Called WINta, the game is described by its developer Dutch outfit Triangle Studios as the next logical step in the music game genre, with a release on iPhone currently in the pipeline.
Matsuura's himself has also previously claimed WINta will 'break the rhythm action genre open'.
Musical methods
It's the game's charitable aims, however, that OneBigGame hopes will most benefit from its association with ngmoco's network.
The OneBigGame initiative aims to donate proceeds raised by the sale of titles created by some of the industry's biggest names to children's charities around the world.
The idea is, the greater exposure WINtA gets from Plus+, the more attention OneBigGame will be able to draw to its cause.
True harmony
"Working with Masaya Matsuura in conjunction with ngmoco is an important step in bringing WINtA to life, and were so excited to be collaborating with these two creative dynamos," said OneBigGame director Martin de Ronde.
"Releasing WINtA on ngmoco's leading plus+ social network offers a new level of visibility to our charitable initiatives."
Though no exact date has been announced, WINtA is due to hit the App Store in the near future.
