Online games publisher OGPlanet taps into mobile payments with Onebip
While there's plenty of discussion about how to get people to pay for mobile content, the mobile device is increasingly becoming a wallet for the purchasing of items, real and virtual.

Online games publisher OGPlanet's deal with mobile payment specialist Onebip is evidence of such a trend, with the firm enabling players of its roster of online games - Rumble Fighter, Lost Saga and La Tale, amongst others – to purchase the publisher's virtual currency Astros on their mobiles.

Safe and secure"We have been looking to increase our payment options and Onebip offered the safest and most reliable mobile payments service," said OGPlanet president and CEO Sangchul Park.

"With Onebip mobile payments, we are offering our player base an important mechanism by which to deepen and further personalise their overall gaming experience."

OGPlanet's deal with Onebip's Express service is available in more than 25 countries, with players able to submit their phone number online.

"We are confident that this partnership will further enhance that success by giving OGPlanet’s players a safe, reliable and quick option for making online payments."
