As keen as social giant GREE may be to lay down roots in the US, the Japanese firm hasn't forgotten its hand in Asia.
The company has announced 11 new partnerships with developers from across China and Korea, delivering a total of 12 games across Android and iOS for the forthcoming GREE Platform during 2012.
Asian eye
"GREE sees significant opportunity in both China and Korea to help expand GREE Platform's international reach, by offering players some of Asia's top mobile social games and giving developers access to their high-engagement player," said the firm in a statement.
"GREE is dedicated to providing the leading mobile social gaming ecosystem for both developers and users worldwide, by leveraging their expertise in the free-to-play business, creating high-quality content in-house, and collaborating with established global partners."
Interestingly, said partners - detailed below - include Hoolai Games, which has recently been at the centre of an apparent in-app purchase scandal on the App Store.
The firm, which will launch its OpenFeint-based social platform during Q2 2012, recently unveiled plans to found a new office in San Francisco as part of an effort to cement its place in the US market.
