PlayStation Mobile set to pack a punch at Develop Brighton 2012
Getting to grips with Sony's PlayStation Mobile development framework will be the focus of one of the many sessions confirmed for Develop Brighton this July.

SCEE's R&D department team leader Neil Brown will discuss how to develop for the firm's mobile venture, which enables studios to serve up content for PlayStation Certified devices, including Sony's Android handsets and PS Vita.

Other speakers confirmed for Develop include Amazon's Ryan Shuttleworth, who will focus on cloud computing and gaming and Google's Ali Syed, who will detail how to advertise games on Google's network.

BBC Worldwide's Simon Harris is also on board, set to discuss how TV and gaming represent the "future of entertainment."

"We're very excited to announce speakers from Amazon, Google and BBC Worldwide, which furtherdisplay both the increasing convergence between games and TV and the rise of digital distribution," said Andy Lane, MD of Develop organiser Tandem Events.

"The fact that the Develop Conference draws names from global entertainment giants such as these is also testament to the investment we have made over the last seven years to continually evolve this conference to ensure it always meets the knowledge, networking and business requirements of today’s games developers in Europe."

Develop will kick off will kick off with Evolve on 10 July, led by a keynote address from Valve's director of business development Jason Holtman.

The conference proper will then follow on 11-12 July. Tickets can be purchased from the Develop Brighton website.
