As highlighted when it formally announced its $11 million funding round, Kiip has now launched its consumer-facing app.
Also called Kiip, but nicknamed Kiipsake (pronounced Keepsake), it combines the functions of a wallet app, so users can see what real world vouchers and credits they have, with app discovery.
One of ours
Of course, this involves highlighting apps that are using the Kiip network. This times the delivery of coupons and vouchers with the award of in-game achievements.
Titles such as Get Set Games' Mega Jump and Alphanoize's CheeseMan are listed in the Featured Apps list, with advertisers such as Skittles and American Apparel fulfilling the supply side of the equation.
The move follows on from similar approach from mobile monetisation companies such as Tapjoy, Beintoo and SessionM.
You can check out Kiip for supported Android devices via Google Play.
