Having provided an early year Vegas trip for the games industry for over a decade, the D.I.C.E. conference is coming to Europe.

Of course, London in September doesn't have quite the same cache as Las Vegas in February.

But together with local organiser Video Games Intelligence, the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences hopes the new location will broaden its audience.

The fun will open on Tuesday 24 September with a full day of networking plus extras such as go-karting tournament and a casino poker night.

Talking with the C-level list

As for the meat of the summit, that will happen on Wednesday 25 September.

The first wave of speakers has been announced, including big hitters such as Wargaming CEO Victor Kislyi, NaturalMotion CEO Torsten Reil, and EA's chief creative director Richard Hilleman preparing to share the secrets of their success.

Oh, and the head of small UK start-up 22cans will be talking too. He's called Peter Molyneux.
