A recurring feature of the first day at the BREW 2008 show has been an advert being played on the big screens before each session.
It's a short trailer for something called Zeebo, with a cutesy cartoon character, a tagline of 'Gaming For The Next Billion', and a link for this website.
There's precious little info there though, other than a button for developers to register for the Zeebo Software Development Kit (SDK), and a form saying that the new Zeebo site will launch "later this year".
A bit of Googling (and, to be fair, his entry in the BREW 2008 conference programme) reveals that Qualcomm's games guru Mike Yuen sits on the board of Zeebo.
And that's all we know. It's certainly intriguing though, and we'll be chasing up all concerned to see what else we can find out.
The character made me immediately think of a virtual world / mini-games thing with shades of Neopets, but that could be wide of the mark.
