At the Develop in Brighton 2013 conference, there were plenty of opportunities to talk to companies doing interesting things.
Few are as interestingly multi-faceted as the deal between in-game charity giving platform Playmob and develop Blitz Games, however.
Playmob's new initiative is Coins; a charitable currency that's funded by real-world brands and earned by player's in-game activity.
The end result is the ability to donate cash to selected charities; at least that will be the end result once the project goes live.
And that's where Blitz Games comes into play. It's launching Playmob's Coins in its iOS game Paper Titans in summer 2013.
