Glu Mobile has made its Space Monkey game for iPhone free, and this time it's for good. The publisher had previously experimented with making the game free to send it up the charts, before restoring its price. However, on the game's App Store listing page, the publisher explains the decision to make it a permanent freebie:"Space Monkey is now free! To fund improvements in Space Monkey and add popular feature requests, we have integrated a series of unobtrusive ads into the game. These ads appear at the end of each level and will not interfere with gameplay."It's a notable move, because until now Glu has steered clear of including advertising in any of its mobile games. We're on the case to check out who's advertising, and what advertising firm/platform Glu is working with (if any) for the game.
