Fishlabs's first in-house sports title, Snowboard Hero, really impressed our own Keith Andrew with its outstanding 3D visuals and dynamic, slope-searing gameplay - bagging itself a well-earned Pocket Gamer gold award.
The Hamburg-based developer and publisher is in high spirits today after it heard Snowboard Hero has also been selected as a finalist in the Sony Ericsson Content Awards.
With our latest title, Snowboard Hero, Fishlabs once again proves that we are one of the finest studios for 3D mobile games, says Michael Schade, CEO of Fishlabs. We are very proud of every one of our awards and will port this very promising title to more mobile platforms in the coming season.
This is potentially very exciting news, as the iPhone could really use a good snowboarding game (were not saying Fishlabs has anything in the works - were just being iHopeful, you understand). Anyway, the winner of the Content Awards will be announced online next February 5th, so stay tuned to see how Snowboard Hero fares.
In the meantime, check out this gameplay video to see what all the fuss is about.
