HTC always has some hot new hardware due for release, with a host of smartphone and feature rich handset being rebranded by the majority of the mobile industry's major players.
A sneak preview at its new Android 2.1-powered Sense handset sparked a lot of interest recently, especially when an image of its ROM was leaked out onto the internet. Not that the Android 2.1 OS was particularly hot new, but some rather clever code snoopers did manage to dig out references to around 20 new, unreleased HTC handsets.
As ElectricPig noticed, 13 of these are completely unheard of, and while the only news regarding the feature of this massive new range of smartphones that we know is that they'll be Android-powered, it does give some idea of the scope of HTC's plans for the coming months (and possibly even years).
References to devices called Bahamas, Bravo, DesireC, Dragon, Dream, Espresso, Halo, HeroCT, HeroC, Hero, Huangshan, Incredible, Legend, Liberty, Memphis, Paradise, PassionC, Passion, Sapphire and Supersonic were all found within this leaked ROM.
This doesn't exactly steal the company's thunder, but it does mean we can expect a lot of HTC-related news coming our way soon.
