Having relaunched itself as an open mobile games portal during the summer, German outfit itsmy has signed up its first direct partnership.
Itsmy users will now be able to access Softgames' Gangsters of Crime City mobile browser game from within their itsmy playground.
This means they will be able invite and challenge their friends and return with one click from Crime City to the itsmy game world.
Mean, mobile streets
Launched in late 2009, Gangsters of Crime City, which is a social game in the mold of Mafia Wars, recorded over one million page views in January.
"The launch of our open API for our game developer partners is an important step for the expansion of itsmy. Softgames, with its awarded titles and long standing expertise in mobile gaming, is a great partner for us," said Antonio Vince Staybl, itsmy's CEO.
"The strategic partnership with itsmy is a great proof of success for our mobile browser games and encourages us to take the next steps for our upcoming games," echoed Alexander Krug, Softgames managing partner.
