Continuing the speculation about the features of the second generation iPad, Taiwanese company Largan Precision is the latest firm to have to withstand the media's assault.
It provides the 5-megapixel lens modules for iPhone 4, raising rumours that it would be performing a similar service for iPad 2.
In focus
Apple is said to be certifying new suppliers for various components with plans to ramping up manufacturing early in 2011 for a late spring release.
Largan, which accounts for over half the world market in terms of 5-megapixel lens for portable devices, declined to comment on the rumours in an official filing made to the Taiwanese Stock Exchange.
