Braineaters' discovery portal Free App Forever set to do away with daily promos

Putting the focus on free

Braineaters' discovery portal Free App Forever set to do away with daily promos
Given the App Store can already call on the likes of FreeAppADay, GoodAppADay and OpenFeint's Game Channel – just to name a few, iOS is hardly short of third party discovery portals.

There's always a new way of doing things, however. At least, that's what Polish developer Braineaters believes.

Free apps for life

Instead of focusing on pushing different apps from one day to the next – promo sites often populated by paid apps that are only free for short periods as a result – Braineaters aptly named website Free App Forever is set to add whole groups of apps en masse each and every week.

The idea is, users won't end up missing out if they skip a day.

"Free App Forever is set to revolutionise the way we look at the App Store - paid and free apps," the studio says of its new venture.

"Forgot to check today's free app? Forget it. Here come apps free forever."

Reaching out

Presumably, this means the site will have a focus on apps that are permanently free, meaning visitors can use it as a database for a collection of the best free apps, rather than one that pushes apps that have dropped their price only for set periods.

The site – though already live – is currently empty, with Braineaters claiming it is in the process of talking to fellow developers to fill the site with content.

Those that are interested are advised to contact Braineaters via the site's official Facebook group.
