January is a quiet time for new iOS releases, which makes it an excellent opportunity for developers to repromote their existing games
German developer FDG Mobile has certainly done that with physics puzzler Cover Orange, which went free on January 15 via the FreeAppADay Store App, and clocked up downloads of 2 million in the six days since.
There have also been over 200,000 downloads of the free and paid versions of the HD iPad game, which was priced at 99c instead of its usual $1.99 for the period.
Prices for both games are now set to return to normal.
