When mobile ad firm Millennial Media isn't busy producing significant reports on the US smartphone market and acquiring location data startups, it is, of course, helping developers monetise their apps through advertising.
To this end, the leading independent mobile ad network has tweaked and revamped its development portal mmDev, incorporating a range of new tools and features into the latest version.
Officially still in beta, the redesigned mmDev area a screenshot of which is below now empowers developers with multiple apps to implement "house ads".
These are used to cross-promote one app inside of another or to encourage end users to upgrade to a paid version of the software.
Dashboard effect
Millennial has also introduced a cross-platform My Apps Dashboard to give developers a handy snapshot of activity across all of their applications.
Other enhancements to the mmDev portal include improved help and support documentation, and expanded reporting to show country and carrier breakdowns.
And if you believe there's still room for improvement in Millennial's development platform, you can share your ideas via a feedback tool.
