Claritics' analytics platform for Android - which originally made its name within the web-based and social gaming field - attempts to put its numbers in context by offering developers what it bills as 'behavioural based analytics'.
Strip away the marketing speak, and its designed to provide studios with the info they need to alter their apps accordingly.
Putting intelligence into analytics
The platform's key selling point is its 'Social Intelligence suite' (as it is billed), which is designed to easily highlight what's working for an app and what isn't, rather than simply pushing a whole load of numbers in the developer's direction.
"Most mobile analytics solutions on the market today only provide very rudimentary aggregated analysis of user behaviours, failing to give app developers the tools they need to truly understand what's going on within their apps," said co-founder and CEO Raj Pai.
"Our focus is on providing not just a complete view of user trends but also on giving Android developers quick, actionable segmentation insights that have a significant impact on app conversions and ultimately revenue."
