On the back of the firm's most recent $200 million round of funding, ad network InMobi has appointed former Microsoft man Lee Blyth as head of sales.
Blyth, who spent five years at Microsoft UK as the firm's mobile ad lead, will operate out of InMobi's London office, with his appointment just the latest move in InMobi's recent expansion drive.
Ads away
"Mobile advertising is becoming increasingly popular in this region, with 15.5bn ads delivered in Europe on InMobis network between July and September, and 3.6bn in the UK alone," commented Blyth.
"Our aim is to help advertisers capitalise on this growth."
Microsoft is yet to confirm who will take Blyth's place, leaving a gap open in the firm's Windows Phone team.
However, his departure follows that of Paul Lyonette, who left his position of head of mobile advertising to join video ad network YuMe in August.
