Epic takes a Rein check on Mobile Games Forum, Unity steps up for closing keynote
The bad news is Mark Rein isn't keynoting the Mobile Games Forum.

Previously listed on the event's schedule, it now appears that the description 'Invitation to: Mark Rein...' meant that the organisers were in discussions with Epic's VP.

But apparently, he's unable to make the conference.

The good news, however, is another heavyweight of the mobile technology industry will be taking the opportunity instead.

And ironically, he (or she) will be from Epic's rival in the middleware space Unity.

Plenty to go round

Anyhow, aside from the closing keynote, the two-day conference will be jammed-packed with pertinent talks, with companies such as Google, comScore, Digital Chocolate, NaturalMotion, Connect2Media, Fishlabs and XMG Media discussing the issues of the day.

Oh, and attendees get a free BlackBerry PlayBook tablet too.

You can find out more details about Mobile Games Forum, which runs from 25-26 January at the Hilton Tower Bridge, London via its website.

Tickets start from £399 for small developers.
