Edinburgh Interactive has announced its first round of speakers for its 2012 Conference, which will run from 9-10 August, followed by a free public day of sessions on 11 August.
The list of speakers suggests that this year's festival - which marks the tenth anniversary of the show's inception - will focus on mobile gaming like never before.
In particular, a panel which organisers have named 'Getting Above the Noise' will examine how app developers can entice users and monetise their titles through advertising, promotion, and virtual currency.
Panel show
The panel itself will consist of GREE's European business development and developer relations lead Kyoko Matsushita, Flurry's European MD Richard Firminger, CloudMade's VP of community Christian Petersen, and Tapjoy's European MD Paul Bowen.
Early bird tickets are available for purchase now for £175 plus VAT.
After 31 March, tickets will cost £229 plus VAT, although discounts are available for Scottish developers.
More information on pricing, accommodation, and the event itself can be found on the Edinburgh Interactive website.
