10,000 euro backed live pitching session confirmed for Nordic Game 2012 conference
The planners behind the Nordic Game 2012 conference have announced it will hosting a pitching session for budding developers to seek funding.

The session - to be held on 24 May - returns for its third year, giving companies in the region the opportunity to pitch their ideas and projects to a group of potential investors, including session partner Games Capital.

The organisers says the growing reputation of the sessions recognise that in the past few years, big names in gaming have come from the Nordic area, including the likes of Rovio and Mohang.

To further encourage this, Nordic Game will be awarding the winners of its pitching session with a €10,000 contribution towards their project.

Those looking for funding should submit their pitches before 13 April.

The pitch should consist of a short document (one page of A4) outlining key selling points behind the investment proposition.

It should be sent to jacob (at) nordicgame [dot] com, and include "principles of the team and their track record, what the project is about, the project's need for investment and how you expect it to earn investors a good return on investment."

More information about the conference, which takes place on 23 - 25 May in Malmo, Sweden, can be found via Nordic Game's website.
