A prize pool now worth over £15,000 will be up for grabs at this month's 24 hour GameHack event.

The haul includes a PS Vita development kit, a sound mix day at Pinewood Studios, a Made with Marmalade licence worth $3,499, and a £3,000 cash price from Turbulenz.

Co-organisers TIGA and BlueVia have also announced Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Developer Relations to the event's growing list of supporters.

Mozilla will also be partner with Turbulenz on the HTML5 Games Category.

"Developers are now looking to technologies like HTML5 and JavaScript for rich, immersive games and we're making sure that Firefox is ready to support them," said Mozilla technical evangelist Rob Hawkes.

"Aside from the browser, we're passionate about engaging with the game developer community to better understand what they want from the Web."
