Fishlabs on the hunt for mobile designers, developers and marketers
German developer Fishlabs is looking to hire experienced designers, developers and marketers, with the firm taking to the PocketGamer.biz jobs board to track down the industry's best.

The studio has a total of five vacancies to fill, all of which will work out of the company's Hamburg headquarters.

Be C-ing you

In all, Fishlabs is after an iOS/Android developer, a senior game designer, a marketing/analytics developer, a multiplayer developer and a web developer.

Candidates for the game developer position must be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of C++ and Java, deep mathematical understanding and a self-motivated disposition.

Similarly, those applying for the multiplayer developer vacancy should have a sound knowledge of C++, as well as experience in network programming and at least two years experience in the games industry.

Spinning a web

Fishlabs is also looking for a senior game designer who will be expected to generate ideas, develop gameplay and design levels for a mobile fantasy MMORPG.

Candidates must have experience creating and maintaining game design documents, a basic knowledge of project management and several years of experience as a game designer.

As for the marketing/analytics developer position, the lucky candidate will be charged with integrating Fishlabs' proprietary and middleware solutions for monetisation, data analytics and user acquisition within new and existing titles.

The role requires a deep knowledge of C++ and Java, a knack for making sense of 'big data' and the ability to fine-tune titles 'at the junction of game-design, monetisation and user retention'.

Five's alive

Last but not least is the web developer, a position which will see the successful candidate configuring and developing Fishlabs' range of web services, servers and CMS.

Applicants should have knowledge of – and practical experience with – PHP, HTML(5) and JavaScript-Frameworks, as well as system administration in Linux-based environments.
