If you're in the midst of booking your trip to San Francisco for GDC 2013, maybe it's time to be premature...
At least, what we mean is if you're around in San Francisco on Sunday 24 March, you'll also have the opportunity to check out the Flash Gaming Summit.
Organised by Mochi Media, early bird tickets are available until 8 February for a mere $99. And indie developers can even get a discount.
Time to shine
For your cash, you'll get to hang out with the best of Flash gaming space, which despite Steve Jobs' best intentions, has been exploding with creativity on desktop and mobile platforms over the past couple of years.
Even with the rise of tools like Unity, it remains a very popular games development platform and is growing rapidly on mobile - something that will be reflected in the Mochis.
These are 'Flash gaming's Oscars' and will see largesse and celebrations spread through ten categories of games.
Check out full details about GFS #5 as they become available on the website over the coming weeks.
