iPad will dominate all forms of media, says Murdoch
Rupert Murdoch's News Corp seems to be planning an all-out assault on Apple devices in the coming months, with the media mogul stating that iPad will become the portal of choice for all forms of media.

Murdoch made the claim during an interview with the News Corp owned Fox Business Channel, the company's founder stating that iPad's media domination is inevitable.

"All media is going to go on to the iPad, whether it be music or books or newspapers or movies, you’ll be able to get on your iPad… they'll get better and better and you’ll be able to do more tricks with it," he told the interviewer.

Everyone get padded

"It'll be pretty small to start with but you know there'll be more iPads. There's competition coming from people like Samsung and LG coming very quickly, [and] Hewlett Packard in a matter of three or four months," he explains.

Murdoch also used the interview to take a swipe at Apple rivals Google and Microsoft – albeit concerning their respective search business, which he believes steal content from News Corp publications.
