Gameloft has announced that its consolidated sales for 2008 were 110.3 million (around $142.9 million) - a rise of 15 per cent year-on-year.
The company's mobile games accounted for 93 per cent of those revenues, with the remaining 7 per cent coming from console titles.
Gameloft had a storming Q4, generating 33.8 million of revenues in that quarter alone - up 31 per cent compared to Q4 2007. The publisher says its range of iPhone games was the key factor.
However, given that those weren't available in Q4 2007, it seems that the company's revenues from traditional Java and BREW mobile games remained flat - at best.
Geographically, Europe accounted for 43 per cent of Gameloft's sales in 2008, with North America contributing 30 per cent, and the rest of the world 27 per cent. The latter markets saw the most growth out of the three.
In 2007, the split was 44 per cent from Europe, 34 per cent from North America, and 22 per cent from the rest of the world.
Gameloft won't announce its full 2008 financials until March 19th, but it says it will meet its goal of an operating profit margin of more than 3 per cent for the year.
All eyes will now be on Glu, EA and THQ's financials, which are due to be announced shortly.
