Multi-platform studio Moblyng has spent much of the last year making a name for itself.
Having pushed out HTML5 based games on Android, Facebook, iOS and webOS total downloads hitting 9 million in the process the publisher made headlines back in May when it signed a publishing deal with the now-Disney-owned Playdom to bring the likes of Mobsters and Sorority Life to multiple mobile formats.
Such is its strength in HTML5 development, in fact, that Motorola Mobility Motorola's mobile spin-off has seen fit to make an investment in the firm.

Though exact details haven't been disclosed, the firm's investment was part of a wider funding round that also included Mohr Davidow Ventures and Deep Fork Capital.
"Motorola Mobility Ventures seeks out the most innovative and promising new companies in which to invest, and we found a strong synergy between our vision for the future of mobile and Moblyng's strategic direction," said Motorola Mobility Ventures MD Harshul Sanghi.
"Moblyng was an early adopter of Android and is an industry leader in using HTML5 to bring cross-platform social gaming experiences to mobile devices. We look forward to accelerating the realisation of their vision."
Android action
Motorola Mobility's investment is not without tactical implications, of course, with Moblyng's strength on Android a natural fit with the firm's own ties to Google's OS.
"As an early Android developer, Moblyng is very excited to work with Motorola Mobility, the leading Android smartphone and tablet provider," added Moblyng CEO and founder Stewart Putney.
"We look forward to working together to bring exciting social gaming experiences to Motorola Mobility's devices."
